There are five types of Data Communication
1 Source : - Computer networking, source routing, also called path
addressing, allows a sender of a packet to partially or completely specify the
route the packet takes through the network.
2 Trasmitter : - A transmitter and a receiver combined in one unit is called
a transceiver. The information is provided to the transmitter in the form
of an electronic signal.
3 Carrier : - A carrier network is the proprietary network infrastructure
belonging to a telecommunications service provider such as Verizon, AT&T or
Sprint. Telecom carriers are authorized by regulatory agencies to operate
telecommunications systems.
4 Receiver : - Receiver (AVR) is a consumer electronics component used in a
home theater. Its primary purpose is to receive audio and video signals from a
number of sources, processing them to drive loudspeakers and a display.
5 Destination : - The primary function of a router is to forward a packet
toward its destination network, which is the destination IP address of the
packet. a router needs to search the routing information stored in its routing
